RHS BAND BOOSTERS

December 1, 2008

The Robinson High School Band Boosters met on December 1, 2008, in the band room.  President, Jay Holtzhouser, called the meeting to order at 6:37 p.m.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Bob Koester gave the Treasurer’s Report. Joe Rose moved that the Treasurer’s Report be accepted as presented. Bill McCord seconded the motion. Motion carried.

MINUTES: Joe Rose moved that the minutes be approved as posted on the website. Bob Koester seconded the motion. Motion carried.

BAND BANQUET: The Band Banquet will be held on January 21, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. A sign-up sheet for volunteers was passed around. Jay asked that anyone who had pictures give them to Judy or to Caleb Rinard for the DVD.

BLEACHER BUDDIES: Jay reported that he had sent an e-mail and a letter requesting instructions for return but has not yet heard from the company.

BAND TRIP: Jay reported that the band trip was approved at the last school board meeting.

SPAGHETTI SUPPER: The Spaghetti Supper will be held on February 17, 2009. Judy Gaul will make sure that we have the cafetorium reserved for that night.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Jay reviewed the band calendar for December.

Joe Rose volunteered to take the small trailer out to Messengers and obtain an estimate to repair the roof.

The uniforms have been cleaned and returned.

Judy Gaul asked if the Secretary could e-mail reminders of booster meetings as part of the duties for that office.

The next meeting will be held on January 5, 2009.

Alice Holtzhouser moved to adjourn. Bob Koester seconded the motion.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
